What did MiniMax launch?
MiniMax introduced MiniMax Design, an Agent-driven creative platform that brings multiple stages of video production into one workspace. Users can describe an idea or provide a brief, then develop a script, storyboard, images, video, music, voiceover, subtitles and edits.
From video generator to production environment
The platform can work with MiniMax H3, Veo, Kling, Wan and Seedance. It supports image, audio and video references, as well as natural-language changes to composition, camera movement, pacing and style.
Professional users also get ComfyUI Workflows with ready-made H3 workflows for frame control, multiple references and source-video workflows.
What is notable about H3?
According to MiniMax, H3 understands unified context across text, images, video and audio and can generate video with native stereo sound, up to 15 seconds and up to 2K resolution.
Why it matters
The bigger change is not only the quality of a single clip. MiniMax Design is trying to reduce manual handoffs between planning, generation and editing. It does not replace a director, editor or creative team, but moves generative video closer to a production environment that coordinates a chain of tasks.
