The platform receives project plans, schedules, 3D models, and documentation, then compares them with photos and videos captured regularly on construction sites.

Buildots was founded in 2018 by Roy Danon, Aviv Leibovici, and Yakir Sudri. The company has around 400 employees, and its customers and partners include Intel, Azrieli Group, Ashtrom, Tidhar, Bouygues, and HOCHTIEF.

In September 2026, Buildots raised a $130 million investment round, bringing total funding to approximately $297 million.
